Kimbab is a very popular common lunch box main meal and snack in Korea. Sadly again,It is known as sushi but there is deffinately different cooking method and ingredients of them!

Im shocked so many British people cook Kimbab rice so wrong! Driy rice is never good to make neither Kimbab or sushi!!

If you wash off all gooness of rice resouces such as Tiamin you will eat tasteless rice. Please do not over-wash your rice. The sticky and starch they’re all good for your healthy diet.
The most important main ingredient of Kimbab is warm and glorious sticky rice!

Today Part1 : Kimbab preparation

1.Always cook rice first!
1 cup of rice is 1 portion for 1 person.
Soak rice in clean fresh water for at least 20mins before cooking it.

2.Beef mince :
Half cup is 1 portion
Traditionally,you marinate beef with soy sauce but my quick sinple way is to just add it on frying beef.

Sesami oil , brown sugar, sesami seeds

If you’re allergic to sesami you can use your favourite oil but not olive oil It makes Kimbab taste too bitter.

Sizzling beef on side.Cool it down.

Open Korean seaweed sheets .
It is known as nori but the Koreans call it Kim 김.

You must be delighted to know that NO BAMBOO SUSHI ROLLER REQUIRED! I will tell you why in Part2 vid.

Veggies : Only 2 of Korean radish pickle called Danmuji 단무지 and Burdok 우엉 Pre-cooked in soy sauce and brown sugar.

Fresh cucumber : Slice long or thinly and short.
